When Scoreboard Remote connects to ScoreCam, it shows a list of nearby ScoreCam devices by name. By default, each device appears using its iPhone or iPad model name (for example, “Paul’s iPhone”). At a venue with multiple courts all running ScoreCam simultaneously, these default names can be hard to tell apart.

Set a custom Camera Name to identify your device in the picker:

1. On the ScoreCam device, open the iOS Settings app
2. Scroll down and tap ScoreCam
3. Tap Scoreboard Remote
4. Tap Camera Name and enter a descriptive label (for example: Court 1, Field A, or Main Camera)

The next time Scoreboard Remote scans for devices, it will show your custom name in the list instead of the device model name, making it easy to pick the correct court.

The Camera Name only needs to be set once per device and is remembered across sessions.
