Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Pachyderm Software ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the ScoreCam app and the companion Scoreboard Remote app (together, "the Service"). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

ScoreCam is an iPhone and iPad app that lets you record and live stream your own sporting events with a live scoreboard overlay, and share that video to your own accounts on services such as YouTube. Some features are free, and some require a paid subscription as described below.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Full access to ScoreCam Live Streaming and branding features is available as an auto-renewable subscription, offered in monthly and annual options.

• The current price is shown in the app before you confirm any purchase, and may vary by region and change over time. Any price increase requires your approval and asks you to re-subscribe at the new price.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. See Apple's subscription support documentation for details.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Live Streaming and Third-Party Services

ScoreCam can stream to third-party services such as YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook using your own account on those services. You are responsible for complying with the terms of any service you stream to.

If you use YouTube to live stream, you are agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. ScoreCam uses YouTube API Services only to create and manage broadcasts on your own channel, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Your Content and Responsibilities

You own the video you record with ScoreCam. You are solely responsible for the content you capture, stream, and publish, and for obtaining any consent required to film and broadcast the people, venues, and events involved, including minors and their parents or guardians where applicable. You are responsible for following the rules of any league, school, or venue where you record.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to record or broadcast content that is unlawful, infringing, or that violates the rights or privacy of others, and not to misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service or the third-party services it connects to.

Disclaimers and Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that live streaming, recording, or saving will be uninterrupted or error free, since these depend on your device, your network, and the third-party services you use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pachyderm Software is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost recordings or streams, arising from your use of the Service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, note the change in the app or on our website. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
