The Hockeyboard includes built-in penalty timer support. Penalty controls are always visible on the operator panel and are available from Scoreboard Remote — you do not need to enable them separately.

How it works:

• Tap the penalty button for a team to start a penalty timer countdown. You can set one or two active penalties per team.
• When a penalty timer is running, a power play clock appears on the scoreboard automatically, showing viewers how much time remains in the penalty.
• When the penalty expires, the power play clock disappears from the scoreboard on its own.

Penalty controls are accessible both on the ScoreCam camera device and from a connected Scoreboard Remote, so the scorekeeper can manage penalties without the camera operator looking away.
